There are a few basic requirements that need to be met in order to be considered and ACTIVE team member:
You MUST:
  • Post your introduction within 1 week of approved registration
  • You MUST post your attendance in the "Roll Call" thread EACH month.
  • You must participate in a minimum of 2 big Team Events every 3 months or 4 blog activities in that same time frame.


Additionally, to have your promotional info added to the Team Blog, you must be sure to add it to the Blog Thread. Otherwise, you will not be visible there as an active member and will lose out on the benefits that comes with having your: shop name, shop widget, blog link, etc...seen by the readers of the Team Blog.

If a team member misses 1 "Roll Call" posting and has not visited the forum to post by the end of that month after being notified by email, that member will NOT be eligible to join in any Team event or promotion of any kind until they post in the new month's "Roll Call."

If a team member is not meeting the required actions above, and has missed 2 consecutive "Roll Calls" an 'Inactivity Notice' will be sent to that member and if within 1 week no changes or contact has been made from that member, they will be considered 'INACTIVE' and risk having their information taken off the Team Blog. A second notice will be sent and if after a week's time STILL no action has been taken by the 'Inactive' member, they
will be removed from the Team.

I know this may sound harsh to some, but the point of an Etsy Team is not merely for fun and chit-chat...the primary purpose is to PROMOTE our Team through events and activities, PROMOTE each other as teammates and fellow sellers...the rest is just icing on the cake Wink We have a very dedicated group of active members here who promote their socks off for everyone on the Team.
I can not allow members to join and benefit from this hard work, but do nothing to give back.

EXCEPTIONS:
  • If you will be going away for an amount of time and not able to join in the Team activities, PLEASE let me know Smile
  • If you are ill or know someone who is not able to join in becasue of an illness, PLEASE let me know.
  • If you are having personal issues and need a break from the Team, PLEASE let me know.
  • If you have dreaded dial-up service and can't be as active as you'd like (but are willing to do the minimum requirements set above), PLEASE let me know. Smile


I am flexible and do not WANT to remove a teammate for undue reasons.
If you are showing willingness to be active by the minimum requirements...that all I ask.

Just popping in every month to say HERE is not enough, we need to have everyone start PARTICIPATING in the forums and in other events! Keep in Mind SEPTEMBER will have a MANDATORY TEAM MEMBER EVENT!
